School CouncilThe Hurstbridge Primary School Council is made up of 7 parent elected representatives, 5 DEECD representatives and 2 co-opted members giving a total of 14. The council meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm.
The council has a number of sub-committees that meet between council meetings ensuring that various areas of the school are operating smoothly. These include committees for the Canteen, Outside School Hours Care, Facilities, Policy and Finance. During Term 2 the council has been busy working on the school's self evaluation and this will lead to the development of the strategic plan (a 4 year plan for the school) during Term 3 and 4.
